It's almost like Zavala is Master Chief and Cayde is the Arbiter? Maybe that's a bit of a stretch...
Considering the audience of this game...if you've got Fillion...you use Fillion...to the Fillionist.
Restraint is important.If you keep playing up a character's traits, then you have to always one up it to make it still have impact. Otherwise you just get used to it and it's a new base line. You see this all the time in TV shows where in the later seasons characters are just hyper eggagerated versions of their season one selves.
Great point. Compare Cayde's dialogue in vanilla Destiny, to TTK, to RoI, to these trailers. There's a very clear ramp-up in the level of sarcasm and his whole "shtick". Personally, I think they hit a good spot with TTK. I find the most recent Cayde stuff obnoxious, even in tiny doses.
