Bungie today also posted some notes regarding next week's 1.0.2 patch focusing on engrams and loot drops. There's an important note regarding Legendary engrams in case you've been holding onto them in the hopes of a patch:
Legendary Engram items that exist in your inventory will be demoted to Rare quality when the patch goes live, so decode them while you can. But let’s be honest--even if you don’t, we all know they were blues already…
No word on when the patch goes live other than "next week," but this weekend might be a good time to clear out those extra engrams.
The Bungie Weekly Update landed early today with the announcement of the long-awaited Destiny Original Soundtrack! You can grab it now from iTunes and the Update says that more information is coming next week about further availability. The full album (which I have yet to finish listening to) clocks in at over 2 hours, 18 minutes, which is right around the limit of a 2-CD set.
There's also an interview with Invigorate, the first clan to beat the Vault of Glass on hard mode, a mysterious coin hunt in the Tower, and another Mail Sack for your perusal.
After a launch of a game, you start to see a lot of concept work that went into its construction finally released into the wild. This gallery by Dorje Bellbrook is full of pieces you've seen and haven't seen and it's a wonder to look through. And of course, there's art depicting places we haven't been - are these what Destiny might have included, or places we may yet go to in the future?
