Mixing real money with in-game rewards is a great thing. (Destiny)

Guess there is never a need to spend real money on Destiny again if I can just get those items as a reward later on.

Isn't that fantastic? Another way to obtain cosmetic items that doesn't require the spending of real money?

old emotes dropping in a mystery bag is just a slap in the face to people who spent real-life money on those items.

How? You paid money to guarantee immediate access to those emotes (and Bungie even gave you some free Silver to let you take your pick).

Are we really that upset that emotes become cheaper or easier to obtain over time?
Should we hate the folks who bought the Legendary edition of Destiny instead of buying it at Launch and paying for expansions?
Should those people hate the folks who bought it cheaper on Black Friday?

It's very unreasonable to be bothered by Emotes as Nightfall drops.
