Who's defending Bungie? (Destiny)
It's definitely weird that raids have an invisible countdown. Bad design even, sure, though this is the only instance where it has ever mattered.
But you're acting like this was a one-off enormous surprise when actually it's a continuation of a previously established pattern. That's why people aren't as outraged as you want them to be. Not because of any "Bungie can do no wrong" sentiment.
More than anything I just find it quite funny. Schadenfreude I guess.
