Oh c'mon. Buying it from some store that broke street date isn't even remotely close to preordering.
I'm with Cody on this one. Pre-order exclusives suck, but they're usually bullshit that is easily ignored (remember the weapon pack for The Taken King that everyone was immediately overleveled for?).
don't forget that the Vanilla D1 preorder bonus included early access to the vanguard armory (which was pretty worthless) and the frontier ghost shell that you couldn't infuse until year 2.
For some reason, my physical copy came with the code for that (despite me not preordering). It is very useful for new characters.
