If I were a developer, I would be heartbroken if someone bought my game and couldn't experience it the same way everyone else does.
Games are art, and you care about that, then you can't just hold stuff back from the package.
That is the point here. It's easy to dismiss when the preorder bonus sucks, but in this case it doesn't.
Don't feel bad for me. I will never ever preorder.
