Similar items, yes, although I think there is a bit more here. But that doesn't necessarily mean the actual activity is the same (it was some kind of 2v2 PvP thing before).
Personally, I'm hoping it is substantially different, since I don't do PvP.
Instead of throwing snowballs, you go around "hugging" enemies to stun/blind them!!
Dang SJWs are getting out of hand with their influence in gaming. :P
