To have fun? (Destiny)

It comes off as tradition to me. It makes total sense. Yes, I agree that it would be fun if they tweaked it a little bit to make it special, but I don't want them to change it from what it is. I mean, technically Trials is the exact same thing but just in a shorter period of time.

Trials at least has the card system, which makes it different. Iron Banner used to have light level differences. Sure, they were mostly negligible, but they were still there, and it made IB feel different and special, whereas now it just feels like more Crucible for uglier gear.

Yeah, I think Iron Banner could use a little revamp. Also, don't make fun of that gear!! Iron banner gear is my favorite looking armor yet. I'm also a titan though, so Knight/Samurai armor looks really cool on Titans :P

Playing RoI was enough to make me want Destiny to go full medieval/space magic with just a tiny bit of sci-fi mixed in... that Knight armor looked so good :D

Oh no, I think we still need to be aware of what we don't like. I just feel like a lot of us get caught up in what we don't like about the game and it has started to sour the mood for others that do enjoy the game. We all need to just take a step back every once and a while and realize how people are enjoying or not enjoying the game. I'm an optimistic guy, that loves playing Destiny and understands that everyone comes at this game differently and thus have different issues with it. I, regardless of my personal problems with the game, will still enjoy what Bungie did amazing in Destiny (which I think far outweighs the faults).

I do, too. I'm happy with D2. I've had tons of fun with it. Part of my issue is that I've had my time with it, and new gear and Eververse items aren't going to pull me back into the game, so I'd like to see unique events that don't just focus on that.

I understand, I normally just come back for the raids with friends. But I still like coming back for events. The dawning was a lot of fun purely for the little tasks. People say they were grindy, but I just did it with friends and it made it fun and I loved the little stories that went with them. That alone made the event for me. I could care less about the loot, although I had to get the slippery emote because that was amazing. But yeah, I don't know what Crimson days is going to be like but I will still have fun with it.

And just because I enjoy the events doesn't mean I don't think they could be improved upon. I just don't think they require a ton of cool and new content to be viable to be released.

It's a tiny little thing, but I have a blast with the snowballs. I'd love to see just a bit more of that kind of silly little thing thrown into the game on a semi-regular basis. Tiny little modifiers than are silly and fun and mix things up a little bit :)
