I mean it makes sense. The computational power of the 6 is almost nothing these days. How do you expect a dam not to break if you upgrade the flow of the river but not the dam itself?

Because it's a fucking phone that I only use to talk, text, email, set timers, browse the web, and record audio. That's not a huge river, and it runs iOS 12 just fine!

Just because you use a portion of the river doesn't mean the entire river isn't flowing through your dam.
