Equip your Guardian with a DBO Shirt

DBO Shirt

Sharp-eyed followers of our E3 coverage may have noticed some exotic loot being tested by the away team: official DBO shirts! Our friend kanbo put these together for us and now he's ready to take orders from the entire community. Here are the details:

  • The front design was created by GrimBrotherOne and Leviathan.
  • The back of the shirt has a small DBO logo printed under the collar. (Design by Dean Hofmeyer.)
  • The shirts are made of thin, preshrunk cotton with a comfort fit cut; we're really happy with how these feel.
  • The default color is heather purple (in case we all want to match at events like PAX) but for a limited time you can also order in heather blue, heather grey, and white. Ink color is white or black, depending on shirt color.
  • The current shirt cost is $11.50 (plus $3 for shipping). Kanbo can offer this price only by ordering in bulk, so shirt cost and color availability may change in the future.
  • This superior tunic has a combat level of 35 and comes with a +2 style bonus.

You can order your shirt on kanbo's site, DownPixel.com.

The hunter becomes the sculpted

Javelin's Hunter

The latest Community Focus throws the spotlight on talented 3D artist Dustin Gagner, also known to the Bungie.net community as Javelin. Dustin created a fantastic digital sculpt of a Hunter, which prompted DeeJ to give him the third degree. After reading through the interview, be sure to check out more of Dustin's work at his portfolio site or in this Bungie.net thread.

Destiny Rotunda Experience

E3 2013 was home to many incredible sights, but the Destiny rotunda or 'ronut' experience was probably the most impressive part of the show. The theater provided a sensory overload - air would blast in your face as space ships flew by, the floor would rumble, the screen filled your entire field of view and the audio penetrated your earlobes from every direction. Watch as the Traveler enters our solar system...

If you're interested in just the audio, that's available by itself, as well:
