I liked POE v1.0 (Destiny)

Getting end game loot with a 3 man, PVE team was pretty good. The low team barrier to entry made it easier to get groups and play. The static bosses and positional movement didn't seem as mechanically complex as a raid boss fight (with the exception of Skolas), but given how stringent Kings Fall is I see it as a sort of plus.

KF is really mechanically exacting, with people having to stand in the same spot and shot the same enemies with the same weapons over and over and over. PoE let you vary things up a bit, there wasn't one specific "raid" gun you had to use to win, nor would one player dying force you to reset. You could pull out those clutch moments more easily.

All in all, have multiple different vectors to end game level is really good. We should start to see players who specialize in one over the other really gear differently, and hopefully as VoG and CE are added back in even the type of enemy preferred should affect gear, making it more likely people will have vex, fallen, hive or cabal outfits. This was the initial concept, that your gear would tell a story of where your character tends to hang out, that Bungie really hasn't been able to deliver on.
