Will our character's particular story drive or influence the main storyline, or will our particular character's story be more reactive to the overall story more along the lines of The Rookie from ODST or Noble Six from Reach?

Destiny will have a rich, story-driven experience that we think will satisfy your appetite for an engaging narrative. This is a first-person shooter set in a world filled with mysteries and bold characters. The main difference, of course, is that you're going to have the option to make these discoveries in real time with other players of the game. This doesn't mean that other people will have the chance to lead you astray or have a negative impact your own story arc.
