So, was everyone happy with the amount of Cayde-6 in game? (Destiny)

I was a bit let down by the amount of the whole Vanguard in the game (for reasons that I've discussed), and Cayde was no exception. I think he wasn't as annoying or as hammy as D1 and the marketing was making him, but at the same time, he wasn't in it enough for me to really get to see a distinct character, or what strengths separated him from any other rogue Hunter. Isn't the Vanguard made up of the best representatives of their classes? What makes Cayde special other than a penchant for jokes and quips?

Totally agree here. I felt we started to get close to some of the right kind of treatment for Ikora, but things kind of drew up short for me.

Basically, I wish we had had more Cayde, but specifically more meaningful scenes with Cayde that would help us care about who he is...

But then, that's what fan fiction is for, no?

I feel like that's asking for a lot of not-very-good along mixed into the more of what's needed.
