Still too over the top, but ultimately fine. (Destiny)

He had one or two lines that actually made me laugh. Most of it fell pretty flat for me, but it didn't really hinder my enjoyment of the game. He still seems way too silly and over the top for my tastes. He's Mal Reynolds dialed up way passed eleven. But Mal has real depth and Cayde is super one note. To be fair, so is literally everyone else in the game, but it's way more grating to see a character played solely for comic relief and that character isn't funny.
