I spent 600 Legendary Shards

I just dropped 700+ legendary shards

I'm sorry... HOW? I mean, I'm not living in the game, but I feel like I play a reasonable amount for someone that has to deal with Real Life™, and yet at best I'm only ever sitting on like, 30. Do you just not infuse? Do you just not talk to Xur? Do you just not spend them? Is this from playing an obscene amount? Crucible? Raid?

I am literally flabbergasted.

I read Bungie going "We've given you more to spend your shards on!" and think... Why? Neither myself nor anyone I know is swimming in them.

And then I see this.

What. In. The. Hell.

I shard a ton of legendaries. I don't think I play that much. But when every legendary/exotic is between 1-7 shards, it adds up pretty quickly.

And I do infuse quite a bit.
