Do we know yet why we aren't the center of the universe? (Destiny)

Good question. One that doesn't have a solid answer yet. A few possibilities:

1. We are, and everyone is rushing this way, they just haven't gotten here yet.
2. We are, and everyone tried to rush our way, but something (The Darkness, The Nine, etc) slowed or stopped them.
3. We should be, but Space Is Big, Really Big™ and only most don't even know the Traveler is stuck here with us. And those that do were only smaller scouting forces and not a race's full might. The Cabal, for sure, have a lot more strength than we've yet seen.
4. We are, and everyone tried to rush our way, but the Traveler has done something that makes getting here harder / take longer than normal.
5. Maybe there is something else going on in the galaxy?
6. Maybe word is spreading of a race of unkillable warriors with a powers that are almost as deadly as their frabjous sense of style. Oh, and they just killed Oryx, the Hive god who had been terrorizing the galaxy for the last several hundred thousand years... maybe we shouldn't go over there after all... yep... seems pretty nice over here not getting wiped out by the Guardians.

I've been wondering about who is left for us to fight. We've defeated the HIve... except we really haven't. There's still Savathûn the cunning and Xivu Arath the strong are still out there. The Vex, who were able to stand against the Hive and who Oryx considered a worthy opponent are still out there. The Cabal empire is still out there. The Nine are still out near Saturn. And there is the Darkness itself. In some ways it feels like we've reached an end, but like the Exo Stranger said: All ends are beginnings. I can't wait to see what happens next. :)
