Whatever other races are out there don't know what's going on in the Sol system, and even if a message reached them now it would take time to get forces here using the conventional FTL systems shown in game.
Which, I might add, are not even FTL systems, they call the drives on your ship NLS drives, which I would imagine means Near Light Speed.
