Ran the Iron banner last night, had a real good time, while others did not. We had a rough start, but eventually started winning more than we were losing. I do have a few thoughts however.

1. Level Differences - They dont seem that noticable. I think this is in part by most of the players being 295-305 range. I killed and was killed by a couple of 308s and a 309, but it seemed normal. Some people have different claims, but it wasn't that noticable for me. From my perspective, I didn't kill people any faster than I would in regular crucible.

2. Drop rates are LOW - I played from about 7 til 10:30 last night, saw 2 players get Iron Banner class Items. Outside of that there were 3 legendary engrams, and the rest were Blues. I am beginning to think your rank. Before it was once you hit rank 2, but i seemed to see more drops pre patch. I was inspecting most people and did not see any Iron Banner weapons out, granted it was just the first day.

3. Map Rotation was BAD - We played 3 maps the majority of the night, Pantheon, Rusted Lands, Exodus Blue. We were staying in the same lobby for awhile too. We got to play bannerfall 2 times, Twilight Gap, Black Shield, and Widows court once. After seeing the patch notes about Thieve's Den being removed from some playlist, I was upset that they did not remove Pantheon from IB.

4. Titan Hammer was REAL - This will probably draw most peoples attention, as titans love it, everyone else hates it. I am really riding the fence on it. I am playing my warlock (Stormcaller, with claws, extended range melee, and feedback MUAHAHAHA). Outside of Supers, titans are just another class, but as soon as I hear that Thud, my heart drops. I managed to kill a few, who weren't using Cauterize (health back on kills) no problem. I killed a few with cauterize here and there. I killed most while I was in my Super utilizing Ionic Blink. Overall, I died. Alot. Having Cauterize with an overshield is instant win. I emptied an entire clip into a guy, who just kept getting his shield back while killing my team, then when my team was dead and I had his shield down, I had to reload, his last hammer killed me. Then when I respawned, another Titan hammer is headed my way. Don't get me wrong, I love the class, I just think the other classes or this class need some work before Crucible turns into Titan hammerfest.

5. Bounties - Bounties seem easy and manageable. No more Machine Lord grind. This helps because I can focus on winning, and not just knocking my bounties out of the way. Also if you completed the quest, you can do Shaxx Weekly bounties. It appears that the IB weeklies count towards the Completing 5 weekly bounties for shaxx as well, meaning you dont have to do the 3 day weekly bounty he has.

Overall, Iron Banner was alot of fun. Win or lose its still progress.

How was your night? What drops did you guys see?
