I *might* be done with Destiny PvP... (Destiny)

... at least until they fix the Sunbreaker. I know that sounds like an overreaction, but keep in mind I could barely tolerate supers in PvP before TTK. The Sunbreaker is just the last straw.

I know these kinds of statements rub some people the wrong way, but I really do find this kind of thing confusing: HOW did Sunbreakers ship as they are? Who playtested it and said "yeah, that's fine"? I only get so frustrated by it because we wait like 8 months for a weapon-balance update, and when it finally comes it's great! A few minor tweaks still needed, but overall it's great! Destiny PvP finally feels like it's clicking on all levels... Except we get this insanely overpowered subclass thrown in and all hope of decent, balanced games goes right out the window.
I played a game before work today; 3 (3!!!) times I got killed by a flaming hammer, respawned, and was instantly killed by another flaming hammer from the same guardian.

Add this to my usual matchmaking woes (Destiny matchmaking just refuses to set me up with decent teammates, and is equally determined to throw my team if randoms against a well coordinated group of 6), and I feel even more strongly that matchmaking in Destiny causes more harm than good for me.

I still look forward to playing Iron Banner with friends, because win or lose I always have a great time doing that. Same with Trials. But when it comes to jumping in to the crucible for a couple quick games, I think I'm done for now :-/
