Sadly no. It's in the patch notes, I think. Goddamn work firewall! Let me go to Bungie.net!
The patch update says nothing about Nightfall, but it does say this about Strikes:
Difficulty will scale less for 3-player Fireteams, making Strikes less deadly for them.
Making it easier for three players doesn't mean they make it harder solo.
