And Friday Night's games: Only 2 bad apples (Destiny)

12 games played.

1 of those games had "traditional" lag with players running into walls, taking no damage, and so forth. Awful.

Another 1 had a weird kind of lag I hadn't seen before, where almost every action and event happened half a second later. Bullets fired late, people died late, picking up the spark was... interesting. My buddy and I were both experiencing it and it was weird. A trip mine grenade stuck to mid-air, I shot a guy three times, saw he wasn't taking damage, turned and left, and then, some 5 seconds after I'd stopped shooting, I got credit for a kill (which I assume was that guy), and - here's the weirdest part - a guy on the other team still had the spark after detonating our rift. It made both the visual and audio cues for the spark holder for him, but I don't think he realized it because he didn't attempt to immediately re-dunk the spark, he just ran back towards the spark spawn. But when I killed him, I did get "spark runner down" audio and points(!). So yeah, there were two spark runners on the enemy team at one point. Very odd.

so 2/12 games I played tonight were horrible lag fests, and every other game was pretty clean.
