Thanks for being a champ, Marty. I love that you're doing this for us.

My question:

To your knowledge, in Bungie's old Haloverse, was there a link between Tolkien's Melkor (aka: Morgoth Bauglir) and the dominant mind within The Gravemind?

A: Not to my direct knowledge. However, we all were immersed in Tolkien, Lewis, and other mythologies so it wouldn't surprise me if there was a connection.
