I enjoyed Guns of the Patriots for its gameplay. I was never much a fan of the action in the games prior for the forced camera in third person. Shooting in MGS4 is just as fun as in any shooter. Much easier to go crazy with assault rifles and LMG's.
I enjoyed the gameplay in the first two Acts. After that...
The CQC ending with Liquid was pretty lame. I would've ended with the REX vs. RAY battle at Shadow Moses. God that was fun. :)
