No complaints about FTB whatsoever. (Destiny)

That's been going on awhile. I stopped bothering to use or check the FTB when the majority of events at times I could play were created from scratch, with 6/6 players, all names submitted by the event creator.

Hopefully that means that the FTB listings from here on out will be more useful to you!

Sorry if that came across as a complaint about the system. The system is superb in just about every way.

If people are going to use the system the way I described (Claude also mentioned it elsewhere in the thread) then those uses might as well be private, and you're right, that would increase the S/N ratio by removing entries that aren't of use to those who aren't already signed up for them.

My problem wasn't that the listings were bad because they were noisy, though-- it's just that because of my time zone, especially during the week, there is a narrow window in which I could commit to being able to both start and finish a King's Fall raid, and for whatever reason, at some point all the events within that window were of this type. I stopped checking not because the system was bad in any way, but just because of the coincidental use by certain people at certain times that meant that rather than there being a first-come first-served event at a time I could play, there was a predetermined team playing at that time.

Of course, this is not a problem the system can solve, it's an unrelated issue. If you didn't offer private events, or let event organizers submit player names themselves, then people would just use some other system and not the FTB at all.
