I bet you are just sort of joking, but in actuality pondering whether it is better to have a finely honed sense or standards that almost nothing satisfies or to never know the highs or the lows because you can't tell the difference is one of the great philosophical questions for me. Especially for stuff like video quality where I put a lot of work in training myself to see the problems and now can't go back.
