I cried watching this earlier:

Why did I? I was moved by the humanity on display. Is there any creative endeavor today with higher stakes or more fraught with stress that AAA game development? I think not. Hats off to these people at Bungie and 343 and elsewhere who are trying to move the art form forward while earning a living and maybe having a life, too.

But this does not automatically garner admiration. I mean sure, to make a game of any sort is an accomplishment. But if you don't measure up… you should be okay with the resulting criticism. One should focus on the result, not so much the process. It doesn't matter how hard you worked if what you produced was no good. If that's not something you can accept, then the field isn't really for you.

Criticism is not an attack on your person… unless you are doing evil things like designing systems to purposely waste people's time.
