I assumed his post was just venting and tongue in cheek.

In either case, it does highlight the ridiculous way people engage with Destiny. If you’re not having fun, why do it? Just because something is there, it doesn’t mean you have to participate. Quit being a completionist and the game gets a whole lot more fun.

I also realize that’s easier said than done.

His post is most definitely a few puffs of steam. As for... well, all of this, I think its because of the challenge. And... being pissed off is very good at (feigning?) motivation.
