Just a couple of things... (Destiny)

I have adopted an alternate strategy with bounties: Get them all, then ignore them. If I’m going to do crucible? Get all the bounties, then don;t look at them for 2-3 matches, probably. It’s a fun surprise when banners pop up during the game. Maybe if I feel like switching weapons I will see what didn;t get completed accidentally and use that as an idea for what to switch to.

Still has the problem of requireing far too much time of pre-work before I can start playing though. I miss omniscient bounties from launch.

Also, I think the bounties really don;t matter as much to the game as you imply, but then I don;t think the stuff in the season XP timeline is all that important.
