I'm a Video Game Item Cook (Destiny)

I don't currently know what to do with my weapons that have elemental affinities you can no longer get. I have a decent number of them which I am compelled to hang onto since they cannot currently be reacquired.

Just delete them. I had a bunch too, I finally just went through this sequence of thoughts:

1. Not one single other person in the entire world cares that you have them.
2. Under what circumstance could you possibly need them to play this game? Maybe a future raid has a whole bunch of enemies with a specific shield type that are weak to sidearms? Let me pull out my Y1 Solar Traveler's Judgement? How often is that going to happen? And even if it did, a current weapon would work just fine.
3. You won't even remember what you had after you delete them. Trust me, you will never wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat because the only Uriel's Gift you have access to does Arc damage.

I'm currently working on applying this logic to a variety of other item categories.
