Luke said 300 will be max for game content. The difference between 310 and 300 in PvP where power matters will be so slight. It's the equivalent of 1/3 of a level under the old system.

If 310 mattered I'd be complaining super hard because it's stupidly hard to get your favorite gear there. But it doesn't. Probably because they realized that.
