In my opinion, Last Extremity is only very slightly worse than Jade Rabbit (lacking the signature perk for bonus precision damage and ammo refills after body shots), but if you can reliably get precision hits with each shot, Last Extremity with Triple Tap will be just as effective. The greater stability means chaining precision shots is easier, and the slower reload is offset by the larger base mag size and (again) extra bullets from triple-tap.

Other Scout Rifles in this realm of impact include the Cocytus SR4 (Armsday, I assume? Destiny DB didn't mention how to get this, but I think it is slightly better than the Last Extremity), the Iron Banner Scout rifle (data mined), and the Trials Scout Rifles (again, data mined). And that's it. Nothing else comes close on a damage per-shot basis.

FWIW I think you're better off buying Last Extremity and using an exotic special or heavy weapon that you will be using the Jade Rabbit. I own both, and that's what I do.

***Important note: Neither weapon has a compelling sound effect for shots fired. Use Ace of Spades instead.
