The line that got me was this one:

Although I'd like to play a Hunter, I believe that if I tried to play all three classes, all my characters would fall behind.

This person is playing wrong. :(

(That said, RNG can be a harsh mistress, and I'm as susceptible as anyone to the frustration of a series of bad rolls.)

He is completely wrong, since you can infuse any armor into any other armor. If you get a drop on your hunter, you can infuse that into warlock armor. This system actually makes playing with other classes easy, as your drops are never ever wasted.
