The people behind this aren't stupid. They have to realise that this rare, two-week-only item is only available through RNG. Whether or not they're going Whale hunting is another matter, but they have to be aware of the possibility that they could do well from them.

Yeah, it makes sense, I guess I was just pinning my hopes on it being some sort of oversight and accident, because it feels pretty scummy otherwise.
