It isn't artificial. It's a second-party title, like Alan Wake or Sunset Overdrive. Funded by Microsoft.
That's still artificial… Death Stranding just came out on a Microsoft platform. Sony helped fund it, and it ran on an engine developed by a Sony owned Studio. HZD just came out on PC, and that's entirely Sony.
Horizon Zero Dawn is coming out on PC three and a half years after launch.
Tell Me Why is coming out on Xbox & PC at the same time.
Not even close to the same release strategy going on between the two.
