They did say summer. 7/7 is only a few weeks in.
I just realized that my brain went 7 = August. Woops.
I expect August... I need August if I'm going to complete my Age of Triumph! :)
Actually it would sort of make sense if the beta started shortly after the AoT deadline, so that there'd be no reason for people who could be playing the beta (and thus have preordered D2) to prefer to stick with D1 any longer.
