Is Golden Gun range on fix list? (Destiny)

I thought it was stated the nerf to range was a bug and was hoping it'd be fixed here. Anyone know if it's working as intended? Or accidental nerf from the hand cannon change?

Oops, what I was trying to ask was "Has Bungie acknowledged that the Golden Gun change was a mistake? Have they said they plan on fixing it?" I can't remember if they said it or if I just read fellow hunters complaining about it.
