TLW has the shortest TTK at close range, and only two things that I can think of could counter it: Hawkmoon and specials (namely shotguns).

Well, and another TLW. But I agree, this gun was a problem before the patch. And rumor has it Xur is selling one this weekend, unless Bungie pulls the rug from Megaman again (sweet jebus I hope they do).
