For a loot based game, it sure is shitty design to limit us the ability to collect loot.

Gotta agree with this.

I mean... pretty much every single loot based game is the same way. Borderlands has limited storage space with a HUGE number of items to collect, and so does Diablo. Both are often considered the biggest and most popular loot based games out there. No game has ever intended a player to collect every single item in the game.

Just because they don't intend you to do that doesn't mean that there are not people who would like to collect everything.

So Bungie only wants us to collect emblems, exotics, ornaments, emotes? Good thing that half of those are only available via eververse. the other 90% of the loot in the game is unworthy of being collected.
