Films are ALL ABOUT THE VIEWING EXPERIENCE. It's not the dressing, IT'S THE ENTIRE FUCKING POINT.

Heh, maybe for you. For me, it's all about the storytelling in a visual medium. I don't really care if it's on a 5-story screen in 3D with all the lights and bells or whistles -- or on my iPhone 4 screen. If the story isn't good, as far as I'm concerned, the flick is a yawner. Action films are not historically noted for strong storytelling (with a few exceptions). All I'm saying is that, so far, nothing in the trailers for Gravity make the film stand out to me. I'd be delighted to be proven wrong, but that point remains to be seen until the film actually releases.
