Meh (Off-Topic)

I must be very out of touch.

I generally see films for free, at industry screenings where the quality is optimal and audience respectful, but when I go out and pay like everybody else, I still manage to get a good experience. I saw Titanic 3D at the THREE DOLLAR second run theatre, and it was great.

I can count on my index finger the number of times going to a theatre was 'bad'. And that was in Detroit.

Hah, wow, yep. That sounds out of touch to me. :) I can count on one hand the times I've had a good theater experience in the last 7 years. There aren't even second run theaters around here anymore, AMC dominates all. The few cool, indie theaters serve alcoholic drinks and food during the movie so there's way too much noise and loose lips for me. I have to drive about 40 minutes to a usually deserted theater in Kansas, on Mondays, at 10:30 AM, to see those big movies I feel like I need to see to avoid spoilers.
