The last Bungie Weekly Update before E3 has dropped (thanks, GrimBrother IV) - go check out a cool new screenshot, some info about what's coming next week, and some answers to fan questions. Definitely worth your time! Go read. (We have a local version, of course - amazingly, no sneaky insert is needed this time to tell you about it.)
Go read! (It's local, too.)
Eep - we missed the Bungie Weekly Update last night. Sorry! (GrimBrother III didn't.) If you haven't read it, swing by - Bungie is gearing up for E3, and while the Update is light on studio news, it's heavy on fan questions (and even some cool answers). We've got a local copy, because sometimes archives are good things.
The most recent Bungie Weekly Update went live earlier today - there's a slew of information on the rock formations that you'll encounter in Old Russia along with some very pretty screenshots. The second half of the update answers a handful of burning community questions that include some answers about the role of factions in Destiny. We'll let you know as soon as the local version is available. [Edit: It's available.] Go read! (Thanks, petetheduck.)
The most recent Bungie Weekly Update went live this afternoon - and it's a great summary of a pretty intense week. Videos and screenshots (if you've missed them elsewhere) fill the first half, along with information about how you can support a great cause and vote for Bungie sartorial splendor. The second half is a meaty Mail Sack with some tasty answers to burning questions. Go check it out! (There is, as always, a local copy in our BWU Archive, if you'd rather just stay here.) Notification came from GrimBrother IV - nice work, sir!
This week was busy at Bungie - a prominent face disappeared, at almost the same moment as a new wave of publicity was initiated. Some things companies are comfortable talking about in public. Other things... not so much. The newest Bungie Weekly Update lets you know that far more info about Destiny is coming very, very soon... but is quiet (explicitly quiet) on the personnel shakeup. It is what it is - go give it a read. (You can read our local version if you choose.) Feel free to jump into the discussion that GrimBrother III has started on our own forum.
The latest Bungie Weekly Update is live on Bungie.net - and if you're drooling at the prospect of getting your hands on Destiny, this one will not make you any less hungry. Discussions of others doing what you cannot yet do are often enlightening... but usually frustrating. However, if you want to know every tidbit there is to know at this stage, these updates are your best keyhole through which to look! (There's a local copy, as well, just in case you need it.) Go read - and drool some more! I think Xenos might have been a COUPLE of minutes before me... but I was busy making that local version.
Yesterday's Bungie Weekly Update was a doozy - no real details, but they're in bug-squashing mode, which is exciting! (There are pictures. Not of bugs, you sicko.) There are also more pics of the Fallen Captain cake that Dave Candland received a few days ago. And some great questions and answers in the Mailsack. What are you waiting for? (We have a copy here, too, of course.)
The Bungie Weekly Update is live, with a first-hand account by DeeJ of how deliciously the Destiny experience is coming along. Take in some tantalizing impressions and stick around for a few juicy tidbits in the Mail Sack, giving some solid indications on the nature of PvP and why you'll want to experience what each flavor of Guardian has to offer. (Don't forget, there's always a local version, too.)
The latest Weekly Update has graced the Bungie Blog with a thousand tiny things that I'm told are letters forming words and sentences. Why anyone would bother reading those is beyond me, since there are perfectly good pictures included as well - and as we all know, the picture-to-word exchange rate is nearly a thousand. Literary irreverence aside, this week's update takes us on a journey from playtest adventures in the Reef lab to Pentathlon planning with an exalted committee. There's even time for a User Research story and the customary Mail Sack. Go read! (It's local, too.)
Fifty years ago, the Beatles kicked off the British Invasion with a historic appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. This week, DeeJ and Urk decided to return the favor by bringing a covert taste of Destinymania to England (and its customs agents) - which explains why today's Bungie Weekly Update is so short and sweet.
What will you find in the latest edition of the Bungie Weekly Update? Tales of Guardians felling Cabal with acrobatic grace and just a little bravado. Testimonies from the thankful souls that encountered the Fallen and were carried to safety by passing wayfarers. Transcripts of a Fireteam's last words. DeeJ also threw in a gaggle of screenshots, teased the Drawing Board's new direction, and announced the return of Ninja Justice. Go read! (It's local, too, of course.)
The latest Bungie Weekly Update is light on news, but well worth your time. Give it a read over at Bungie.net or here at DBO in our BWU Archive.
Put down your brand new Xbox controller (or your grody old one) and take a gander at this week's Bungie Weekly Update. The post is full of teases about take-home tests, exotic armaments, and unique equipment - plus a few new pieces of concept art!
Every seven days, a new Bungie Weekly Update is unleashed (and quickly copied to our local archive). Today was that seventh day, and the latest missive contains a wide variety of tantalizingly vague anecdotes about the current state of Destiny multiplayer. Dive in, gawk at the trio of high-res screenshots, and revel in the glory of the newest Weekend Champion!
If you don't have time to read the Bungie Weekly Update (either at B.net or in our own Weekly Update Archive) Greenskull has broken it down for you in visual form. 3 minutes will give you the skinny.
Just as DeeJ, Urk, and the rest of the Bungie away team returns home from overseas, so to does the Bungie Weekly Update! After a brief recap of their jet-setting adventures, we get one last look at the Moon before that destination goes dark, with specific focus on the Accelerator environment we saw in the original Grognok demo and more recently heard about on last week's podcast. The Halloween pumpkin carving entires get some love, too, and even a couple Mail Sack questions get answered!
And, of course, the update is available in our local archive should you wish to read it over here.
Ready Up Live's Greenskull walked through the first Destiny-based Bungie Weekly Update - I suppose if 2 minutes of summary is easier to process than 2,000 words on a screen, this video is for you. Take a look!
