The narrative is definitely out of control, but I don’t think Bungie is helping their case by continuing to allow this to happen over and over again across multiple projects. I realize Bungie isn’t responsible for this as a monolith, but at the end of the day, they are responsible for what they’re putting out into the world. It’s going to be very hard for them to walk this back when it’s the dozenth or so time it’s happened.

It’s also very hard to tell people they’re overreacting when they have a valid core point.
