Eh. While I agree Theater was probably implemented with MP in mind, I find it invaluable for campaign as well, since the hijinks people of HBO managed to pull off in campaign were absurdly more fun to watch than the ones in MP.

I expect the same will also reflect in Destiny. So far, Paddy alone had already proved that to me, but you can clearly see more people in this very forum making good use of PvE footage already.

"Dropped" is the wrong word to use here.

Not really, imho. You can disagree on its importance, but I think it is pretty much a given that Bungie does Theater really well, so it is only natural to assume (emphasis on word) Destiny would have it too.
