Had a pretty long session with a friend's Switch on portable mode the other day. I really don't like the thumbsticks. I thought I could deal with it, but I was constantly running Mario in a diagonal when I wanted to go straight. If I were to guess, the thumbstick is just way too low flush into the pad.
