Rumble. (Gaming)

I’ve had three Xbox One controllers now. A Day One controller, one of the first ones with the redesigned bumpers, and my current one that came with the One X.

The rumble in every single one of them has been obnoxious. It literally feels and sounds like the controller is tearing itself apart. If you have Elite Dangerous, the extreme rumble when you exit witch-space is the worst example. I could hear it clearly over my headphones with the sound up pretty high, and it’s bad enough that I turn off rumble completely when I play that game.

I’d also agree that it’s a much cheaper feeling controller than the 360 controller or the DualShock 4. I like the ergonomics better one the One controller, but the DS4 feels like it’s built better and has fewer issues.

I still give them props for using AA batteries rather than a built-in rechargeable battery. The battery life in both of my DS4s sucked from day one, and plugging them in is more annoying than just swapping in new Eneloops.
