hmm, okay. I probably wouldn't use most of the features either. Your mention of some of the new features are compelling reasons to preorder and wait.
one other thought occurs to me: is the new elite controller going to be compatible with Scarlett, the new generation console launching next year?
It would be ludicrous for it not be given how they launched it. But they have confirmed that it is. I looking for a real gesture of good will: make series 1 compatible, too.
