The normal plastic is complete fine, and I don’t have to worry about it peeling. All the reports of rubber separation was a huge factor in me skipping the Elite, and now they go and add even more rubber. Real smart move.
I never had the slightest issue with tihs, so I have to wonder what kind of care was taken of those controllers. I mean, I'm sure that there are MANY people who play way more than me, but I played enough to have the replace the thumbsticks, but that was within what I consider a reasonable period of time.
