"My Vault" prevents playing Destiny (Criticism)

I mean all of it. It’s striking and pretty, but actually managing anything just plain sucks. You know what works well for moving through menus? The D pad. Cursor driven menus on controllers are bad, period. I’ve literally never seen a good one, and now just about every game does it and it always sucks. I never understood how Destiny’s menus won any awards other than the “Who the hell thought this was a good idea?!” award.

That’s not to say they don’t get a lot right. The Director is mostly good, and Orbit screen with your fireteam members is great in a way I don’t appreciate enough until I play other games. Figuring out who’s actually in my party in Halo Infinite is a nightmare. Being able to play with the menus while loading into an activity in Destiny should be the standard at this point.
