Yes, they call them collections WITHIN the kiosk, but they obviously purposefully used a DIFFERENT name for the kiosks because they did not want to imply that it was expected to collect them. This feature is something the community was asking for, a way to not have to hang on to items that you knew you didn't want, or at least didn't need right now. You knew as well as all of us long before 2.0 that dismantling those exotic pieces meant you could never get it back, and nothing has changed since then expect your perception of the event. OCD is not a good reason to scrap a good feature that people want, nor is it a good reason to lessen the rewards that players receive for the activities they work hard for.
