What kind of person do you people think I am? (Destiny)

Cyber. I am a libertarian. I am a political NUTJOB. If think roads should be private. That kind of crazy guy. However, the United States has voted for some things to be run by government. They should not change that if the will of the people doesn't support it. If more people want public roads, we should have public roads. I would never support the government doing something the majority of people didn't want, like the privatisation of highways, but if you asked me if I liked public roads, I would say no.

I don't know why everyone here thinks people can't have nuanced opinions. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean I think it should change. If everyone at a party wants chili dogs and I want hamburgers, I won't suggest to the host to drop chili dogs for hamburgers for fuck's sake. That's stupid. I WILL, if ASKED, say what I prefer. I'll even eat a chili dog with beans even though I don't like beans.

I'm not some entitled dickwad who thinks everything he doesn't like or does like needs to be implemented in Bungie's game. It is their game. It is not my game. I will still play. I still love the game. The game is still the best game I have ever played. One specific aspect I thought was better before 2.0. Don't treat me like a greedy child insisting I get my way, because I am nothing like that, and I'm insulted you guys think I am.

Odd ramble aside, I don't buy your complaint. You whine that some things are out of reach for people who aren't as good as others? Why should the bar be placed lower because some people can't jump it?

It's the same as some dolt complaining that Trials is too hard for him because he wants to get to the Lighthouse, so Bungie should accommodate his skill level. It just doesn't work that way, and would be terrible if it did. You think it's unfair that you can't have every exotic delivered on a silver platter (and maxed out, to boot), just because you want to have it?
What would challenge you, then?
What would drive you to be better?
What would you look forward to as a reward?

Some things are out of reach for people. We have people here that never got past the PvP portion of Thorn, some that got it in a couple of matches, and some who took months to finally succeed. It's a challenge that rewards the skilled, and a mountain for those less skilled to climb, but I can assure you that the people who had to struggle with the challenge felt a greater level of success than those who breezed through the PvP portion.

How would we feel about climbing Everest if there was a chairlift that dropped folks off at the top?
